The homes range from two storey houses to apartments in three storey blocks, sitting comfortably with the scale and massing of the existing buildings. As well as provided new mixed tenure housing, the design reactivates the area between Goodenough Way and Ellis Road by strengthening pedestrian routes, defining large underused public areas, and complementing the existing built forms. New landscaping and additional trees create a rich and diverse series of external spaces that offer naturalistic play and social opportunities for the whole community.
